Looking for a near perfect pup?  Well look no more!  Scout is dog, cat and people friendly.  He is an 8 year old, 40 pound springer spaniel mix with gorgeous black and white coloring!

Mr. Scout is is very sweet and LOVES attention almost to the point of being an attention hog. Scout will definitely make a loving companion - he particularly likes the ladies.  If another dog comes up for some petting, Mr. Scout wants to be right in the middle it!  He also wants to lie down next to you and just be with you.  Scout is super smart, too.  He knows sit, stay and doesn't get on the furniture.  He even learned the doggie door at his foster home in one day!  Mr. Scout has full roam of the house (he is house-trained) along with his four doggie brothers and sisters and two boy cats.  He gets along with everyone he meets.  When he first greets another dog, he tends to linger a bit when sniffing nose to nose and that may bother some dogs, but this is Mr. Scout's way of saying hi!  Since Scout is nervous around new people, he is looking for a kid-free forever home. And allthough he doesn't love long car rides, short rides are okay.

Scout has an old leg injury that requires daily glucosamine and Novox, but it doesn't hold him back on any activity, including stairs.  He might limp a little bit, but he doesn't mind!  He easily goes up two flights of stairs, one with 5 steps and the other with 15 steps.  Scout loves walking and playing around the house and yard.
